Green 2.0 believes that in the 21st century, the success of environmental causes will be based on our ability to transform them into more just, inclusive, and relevant organizations and movements.
For two consecutive years, I provided an in-depth content review for Green 2.0’s Transparency Report Card. This research provides critical insight on the diversity found on staffs and boards, encouraging organizations to be accountable through using this data to inform their metrics, goals, and strategic plans.
I also provided content strategy and editing for the 2025 release of Behind the Byline: Voices from Environmental Journalism. This report analyzes the experiences of environmental journalists of color covering climate, energy, and environmental stories, revealing the challenges these journalists face, including burnout, safety concerns, and underrepresentation in newsrooms.
